The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity to join a regional destination promotion agency focused on attracting investment, events, and tourism. The organisation is entering a dynamic phase following the launch of a Local Growth Plan aimed at accelerating regional development.
This role will focus on promoting the region''s towns and cities to real estate audiences, supporting regeneration efforts. It involves strategic marketing, content creation, digital channel management, and event promotion, offering the chance to lead impactful campaigns across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing & Communications Planning
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy targeting real estate audiences.
- Collaborate with Business Development to segment audiences (e.g., investors, developers).
- Create channel strategies across digital, PR, and events.
- Define KPIs and reporting metrics.
Regional Narrative & Brand Development
- Shape messaging around the region''s investment potential.
- Identify storytelling opportunities through media and events.
- Ensure brand consistency across internal and external communications.
Content & Campaign Leadership
- Lead all real estate-related marketing outputs.
- Create diverse content (blogs, case studies, newsletters, thought leadership).
- Maintain an "always-on" digital presence.
- Manage multi-channel campaigns for major events.
- Handle media relations and partnerships, including editorial planning.
Major Events Management
- Lead communications for key industry events.
- Manage pre-event promotions, on-site activations, and post-event follow-ups.
- Coordinate media interviews and sponsorship deliverables.
Essential Skills:
- Strong written and editorial skills for B2B content
- Ability to translate complex insights into engaging content
- Proficiency with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn
- Experience producing long-form articles and thought leadership
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital content optimisation
- Digital marketing experience (B2B, public sector, or agency)
- Strong project and deadline management in fast-paced settings
- High attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and partners
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
