Market Stall Assistants

OverviewMarket Stall Assistants to join our client team. This is a hands-on role serving freshly prepared wraps and salad bowls from busy market stalls across London. Training will be provided during initial shifts, with a preference for reliable, long-term support, especially on weekends.

Location: London market locations (e.g., Borough Market or Greenwich Market). Pay: from £12.21 per hour. Contract: Part-time, weekends and occasional weekdays.

Responsibilities

Preparing and serving food (mainly wraps and salad bowls) to customers

Delivering friendly and professional customer service

Setting up and closing down the stall with the team

Packing equipment, packaging and leftover food at the end of shifts

Maintaining cleanliness and following food hygiene standards

Requirements

Previous experience in food handling or customer service (e.g. café, takeaway, fast food) is an advantage

Reliability and punctuality are essential

Ability to work well in a small team in a busy environment

Flexibility to work across different market locations in London (many are recurring weekly)
