Oversee business development efforts across key defence, engineering, and technology sectors, aligning with strategic objectivesBuild and manage long-term client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor and first point of contactAccountable for identifying, and mitigating commercial risksIdentify and qualify new business opportunitiesProvide accurate forecasting and reporting of pipeline, performance, and market intelligence to senior leadershipLine Manager for a group of Business Managers on a day-to-day basis, providing functional leadership, coaching and mentoringEssential Experience

Skilful in enhancing business development and increasing sales in the Defence Maritime Sector, applicable to wider defence, engineering, or technology sectorsAbility to engage with technical teams and translate complex offerings into compelling business valueExperience across the range of Defence industry commercial strategies and contracting mechanisms used to engage suppliersSkilful communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skillsOrganized professional with a strategic mindset and a results-driven attitudeExperience We Are Looking For

Background in consulting would be advantageousExisting network within defence primes, government agencies, or related industries; experience with framework agreements and public sector bidsDegree in business, engineering, or a related field is beneficialWhat we can offer in return
