Marine Services Coordinator

The OpportunityWe are looking for an organised and proactive Marine Works Coordinator to join a busy marine services operation.Although there are elements of project management within the role, this is primarily an operational coordination position rather than a traditional Project Manager role. Think of the business as a busy garage for commercial boats and vessels. With multiple jobs running at any one time, you''ll be responsible for coordinating work, managing priorities and ensuring projects move smoothly from enquiry through to completion.You''ll work closely with customers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams, making sure the right people, materials and resources are available when needed. No two days are the same, and success in this role comes from being able to stay organised, communicate effectively and keep multiple moving parts under control.Whilst marine experience would be beneficial, it is not essential. We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in engineering, automotive, manufacturing, construction, facilities management, maintenance, service delivery or other fast-paced operational environments.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate vessel maintenance, repair, refit, survey and inspection activities.Plan and schedule work across multiple projects and workstreams.Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing updates and managing expectations.Coordinate engineers, tradespeople, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure ..... full job details .....
