Responsibilities of the Marine Project Engineer
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of marine engineering projects within the naval sector.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, fabrication, and testing departments.
- Conduct site visits and oversee on-site implementation to ensure compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project proposals for clients.
- Engage with stakeholders to provide updates and mitigate potential project risks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer with a focus on marine or naval engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of marine systems, naval structures, and relevant industry standards.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with engineering design, planning, and execution within the marine sector.
- Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant engineering qualification such as BSc or MSc in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field.
