Marine Mechanical Fitter and Marine Welder

SLR Recruitment are working on a large ferry refit for our long term client based in Poole Dorset! Our Marine based client we''ve worked with many times over the years have a large scale project working on the Sandbanks chain ferry refit. We''re looking for an experienced Marine Mechanical Fitter and a Flux core welder to join the team! Start date: Monday 2nd November 2026 End date: Monday 7th December 2026 (May potentially over run) Start time: 7am Rates: 23 per hour for all hours worked Scope: 6 days per week (rotating so you have a day off during the weekend every other week). 10 hour days on average (sometimes 12 hours when possible) Requirements: Mechanical Fitter: Ideally Marine based previous experience on similar vessels/refits Welder: FCAW experience ideally on refits/fit outs/ vessels/marine based If this sounds of interest, email your CV over ASAP :) ..... full job details .....
