The position involves extensive international travel, and flexibility is expected from the post holder. Job Title: Field Service EngineerLocation: United Kingdom - Southampton Workshop, with expectation to travel to company''s other workshops worldwide.ResponsibilitiesServicing and repair of exhaust gas turbochargers.Working on turbochargers installed in ships of all sizes and at land-based power plants.Minimising downtime is critical. There will be times when the engineer will be required to work on a job for a sustained period to meet the customer''s needsWorking in the company''s workshop and live within commuting distance.About the PersonA minimum of two years of experience working in a marine engineering positionA minimum of two years of experience working on turbochargers manufactured by ABB/Accelleron, MAN or MET (essential)Experience of working on new generation turbochargers (desired)A problem solver and capable of working ..... full job details .....
