      <description>Location: London | Salary: 10000-500000 Hourly | Type: Permanent | Reed on behalf of Transport for London are seeking a skilled Marine Engineering Officer responsible for the technical upkeep of vessels and river terminal assets at the Woolwich Ferry. This role involves providing first-line mobile technical and engineering support for vessels and plant, including remote monitoring control systems and routine, planned, and unplanned maintenance, also manage the rostered technical team for any given shift.  Hourly Rate: £31.31 PAYE or £63.1 Umbrella Location: Woolwich Ferry, London, SE18 Job Type: 37 hours per week  Day-to-day of the role:  Monitor the running vessels'' performance to provide safety assurances to the Captain to proceed with start/shutdown and offer technical support and guidance throughout the vessels'' running time in the event of automation deviations in vessel propulsion, linkspans, and auto-mooring, and the re-setting of alarms.
