Marine Engineer Newcastle Salary up to 45kCalibre Search are working alongside a major UK-based multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy who have been providing high-quality services to their clients for over 120 years.Due to a healthy forward workload they are looking to appoint an Engineer to join their Marine team in the Newcastle office. Their portfolio of marine work includes harbour and quay walls; piers; wave protection structures; marinas and berthing facilities and coastal land reclamation. You will be given the opportunity to work alongside their specialist team of dedicated Engineers and Technicians on a varied portfolio of civil engineering works in the marine environment.In this role you will be responsible for the design and assessment of marine structures, so you must be competent in the use of relevant technical analysis, design software and AutoCAD. You will ensure work is compliant with Health and Safety legislation such as the CDM Regulations and other applicable codesYou will liaise and communicate clearly in a professional manner to colleagues, clients, contractors and other designers to offer advice and guidance on matters relating to your work.
