The successful candidate will support the safe and efficient management of marine activity within harbour limits, working as part of a professional Marine Services team. The role operates on a 12-hour night shift rota, including weekends and public holidays, averaging approximately 2 shifts per week as part of a job share arrangement. Duties will include: Supporting the safe coordination of vessel and harbour operations Maintaining effective communication with port users and marine personnel Monitoring marine activity within harbour limits Assisting with operational and emergency response requirements where necessary Providing additional support to the wider operations team during quieter crewing periods Previous experience within marine navigation, port operations, shipping, offshore, or a similar maritime environment would be advantageous.
