Manufacturing / Warehouse Operatives

Pertemps Swindon are currently looking for manufacturing /warehouse operatives to work with one of our prestigious clients in Swindon. Monday to Friday 06:00-14 and 14:00-22:00 weekly rotating shifts.

This is temp to permanent opportunity.

Pay rate -13.50 raising after becoming permanent

Please note that drug and alcohol test will be required prior to start.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of production and/or warehouse team depending on business needs
• Running- machines making sure health and safety procedures are adhered
• Quality check to minimise defects
• Supporting warehouse and dispatch team if machines are not running

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment-
• Experience operating machinery and handling materials safely
• Familiarisation of- quality and safety procedures
• Awareness of Lean Manufacturing and 5S
• Physically fit and be able to stand for long periods of time
• Counterbalance FLT licence preferred
• Teamwork skills with ability to work independently when needed
• Detail focused with commitment to get things rights first time.
