Manufacturing Technician

Location: Melbourn, near Royston (SG8)Type of Work: TemporaryDuration: 3 months initially, transfer to permanent staff for the right candidatesHours: 8am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hour week) Moving to weekly shift rotations 13th July 2026 early / late shift (6am - 2:30pm and 1:30pm - 10pm on a weekly rotation)Salary: £17 per hourJob Reference: 36205Polytec are looking for Manufacturing Technicians to complete assembly tasks for our client based in Melbourn, near Royston. Ideally you will have access to your own transport due to the shift pattern requirements. Responsibilities: Assembling small plastic componentsRequirements: Experience assembling small items Attention to detail, good dexterity and an awareness of quality requirements Cleanroom experience would be useful but full training will be given.
