Manufacturing Technician Location: Aylesford Salary: £45,000 Permanent Opportunity in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Join our client to support maintenance, installations and engineering improvements, reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability. About the role Our client is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support maintenance, installation, commissioning and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment is safe, reliable and operating efficiently while supporting wider engineering projects. Key responsibilities Support planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment Fault find and repair mechanical and electrical systems Assist with installation, relocation and commissioning of machinery Support automation upgrades and process improvements Carry out fabrication, fitting and equipment adjustments Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions Collaborate with engineering, production and maintenance teams Support contractors during service and installation work Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Contribute to continuous improvement and site performance About you (requirements) Experience in a hands-on engineering or maintenance role Strong fault-finding ability (mechanical and/or electrical) Background in manufacturing or production environments Proactive approach to safety and improvement Able to work independently and within a ..... full job details .....
