Manufacturing Technician - Mazak

CareerMakers is recruiting an experienced Manufacturing Technician for a permanent precision-manufacturing opportunity in South Liverpool. The role suits a time-served CNC machinist with strong hands-on experience setting and operating multi-axis turn/mill machining centres. Benefits Salary dependent on experience and skillset 15 shift holidays (equivalent to 25 standard working days per year), rising by 1 day for every 5 years'' service. Bank holidays off, or a day back in lieu where applicable to the shift pattern. Christmas shutdown arrangements in line with the shift holiday allowance. 4 x salary life assurance. The role requires strong multi-axis turn/mill experience, a thorough understanding of ISO programming, and a methodical approach to machining, inspection and quality. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate Mazak Integrex multi-axis turn/mill machine tools. Produce precision-engineered components to fine tolerances. Machine stainless steels and heat-resistant superalloys. Use hard gauging and CMM equipment to verify product quality.
