The successful candidate will have strong electro-mechanical assembly skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics. Electrical & Electro-Mechanical Assembly Carry out electro-mechanical assembly of special-purpose machinery and prototype units. Undertake precision assembly of prototype and production equipment. Complete point-to-point wiring , cable crimping, looming and termination work to a high standard. Carry out soldering and wiring to the required specifications. Read, interpret and work from electrical wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams and assembly drawings . Locate, diagnose and rectify faults within electrical power supply equipment . Carry out general mechanical and electrical assembly work as required. Correctly use, maintain and care for a range of hand tools, power tools, test equipment and measuring instruments .
