Job Title: Manufacturing Technician I (Cleanroom / GMP)
Location: Paisley (PA4 9RE)
Pay Rate: -13.79/hr + 25% Shift Allowance (Equivalent to -27,027/yr)
Shift Pattern: Rotating Early (06:00-14:00), Back (14:00-22:00), and Night (22:00-06:00) shifts (Mon-Fri / Sun-Fri)
Contract: 3-Month Temporary Contract (Possibility to extend)
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
About the Role
Are you a process-driven individual with experience in a regulated manufacturing or GMP environment? We are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Technician I to join a global life sciences facility in Paisley.
In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining bottle availability, inventory, equipment cleaning, and workplace organization to support active production lines.
Key Responsibilities
Bottle & Inventory Management: Order, manage, and prioritize bottle availability and consumables at the point of use to avoid production bottlenecks.
Equipment Cleaning & Preparation: Clean equipment (including operating Lancer washers) and production areas in line with strict SOPs and GMP standards.
5S & Housekeeping: Maintain clean, safe, and highly organized work areas using 5S principles.
Quality & Safety: Follow gowning procedures, complete precise batch/cleaning documentation contemporaneously, and adhere strictly to site Health & Safety guidelines.
Requirements
1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
1+ year of experience working within GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
Experience with inventory management or equipment cleaning/sanitization is a strong plus.
High attention to detail, team-player mindset, and strong organizational skills.
Must be able to commute reliably to Paisley (PA4 9RE) for rotating shift patterns.
