About the Role
The Manufacturing Technician role is based in Barrow-in-Furness, offering a permanent contract with a salary between £30,000 and £42,000 per annum. This hands-on position involves supporting the production of equipment for marine and subsea environments. Key responsibilities include operating micro CNC machinery, soldering PCBs and electronic circuitry, and building wiring looms and cable harnesses. The role requires following technical drawings and circuit diagrams, performing PAT testing, and conducting quality inspections on circuitry and cables. Candidates should possess proven experience in electronic assembly or manufacturing, with strong PCB soldering and wiring skills. The role follows a standard working pattern within a dedicated production team.

Key Responsibilities
Operate micro CNC machinery for precision component production
Solder PCBs and electronic circuitry to a high standard
Build and assemble wiring looms and cable harnesses
Follow manufacturing procedures, technical drawings, and circuit diagrams
Carry out PAT testing and quality inspections on circuitry and cables
Ensure all products meet strict quality and safety standards
Key Skills
Proven experience in electronic assembly or manufacturing
Strong PCB soldering and wiring skills
Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and engineering drawings
Experience with micro CNC machines (desirable)
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
