Manufacturing Technician

We are looking for motivated and hands-on Manufacturing Technician to join a team based in Batley. This Manufacturing Technician role is ideal for someone at an early stage of their career who is keen to gain practical experience in a manufacturing and RandD environment, or who can bring experience from a similar setting. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will support production activities, assist with equipment preparation, and help maintain organised and safe workspace. This is role is a temporary contract, with the potential to become permanent dependent on performance! Roles and Responsibilities of Manufacturing Technician:Assemble robotic systems and sub-assemblies.Complete mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering, and PCB component installation.Support prototype builds, testing, and production activities.Prepare parts, tools, and materials for assembly.Follow assembly instructions and maintain build records.Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop.Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes.Follow health and safety procedures, including PPE requirementsQualifications and Experience Required from Manufacturing Technician:An interest or some exposure to manufacturing, production, or workshop environments and be keen to learn and follow instructions accurately.Be practical, reliable, and well organised, with good attention to detail and a positive attitude toward hands-on work.Experience with hand tools, workshop equipment, mechanical or electrical ..... full job details .....
