Manufacturing Technician

Location: Cambridge (CB25)Duration: PermanentHours: 8:30am until 4:30pm (Monday to Friday) Salary: Up to -29,000Job Reference: 35798Polytec are looking for a Manufacturing Technician for our client based a few miles north of Cambridge.Responsibilities:* Assemble devices, test, configure, pack all products/units effectively to specified quality standards, HSE and ESD conditions* Conduct testing of products returned due to failure in the field in accordance with documented procedures* Support in the investigation and implementation of production related corrective and preventative actions* Ensure works orders are started and completed in line with production schedule and in accordance with relevant procedures ensuring ''right first time'' approach is maintained* Prioritise and promote health and safety in the workplaceRequirements:* Good manual dexterity skills and affinity for detailed manual work* Electromechanical assembly/PCB soldering, assembly and testing experience* Experience working within a medical device regulated environment would be helpful* IT literate, familiar with Microsoft Office* Familiar with modern manufacturing systemsPlease contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
