Role: Manufacturing Team Member (Steel Processing, Profiles and/or Composites department)Location: TATA Steel, Shotton Works, Shotton Records Centre, Deeside CH5 2NHPay: Profiles 15.05ph (including 10% shift allowance), Composites 13.68ph on days and 17.76ph for shifts Contract length: 3 months initially with the view to extend or offer a permanent contractShift Patterns: Composites department operates two different patterns Tue-Fri 07:00-17:00 (30 min early finish on a Fri) and an alternating shift pattern 37.5 hours per week.Week 1: Mon - Thurs 06:00-16:00, Week 2 Mon - Thurs 16:00-02:00Profiles department is an alternating shift pattern, 37.5 hours per week. Week 1: Mon - Thu (Apply online only), Week 2: Tue - Fri (Apply online only)Start: ASAP but pending completion of medical assessment which includes a drug and alcohol test Responsibilities:Working within the profiles remit, supporting the team with manual handling dutiesUnloading and loading steelFollowing instructions from management in relation to the moving and handling of steelMaintaining a strong ethos of UK Health and Safety legislation at all times Operating processing machine and material handling equipmentClearing areas within the departmentEnsuring a clean and safe working area for allBeing actively involved in ..... full job details .....
