This responsibility includes quality and health and safety. The role is a hands-on role. Main Duties: 1. -To deputise for the Shift Manager as and when required. 2. -To strive to meet or exceed the production plan in their area of responsibility. 3. -To work as a team with the other team leaders to support the Shift Manager. 4. -To strive to meet or exceed the set KPI targets in their area of responsibility. 5. -To ensure an effective handover is carried out. This will mean starting slightly early on the late shift and finishing slightly late on the day shift. 6. -To assist the Shift Manager in ensuring the site is closed as and when required. 7. -To coach, train and develop individuals in their team.- 8. -To actively support continuous improvement systems. 9. -To attend training courses as required including off site training courses. 10. -To ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed. 12. -To ensure that all quality systems are followed.
