Manufacturing Team Leader

MS721 - Manufacturing Team Leader Location: Cardiff (including National travel once trained) Salary: £15.76 per hour Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader Assistant on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will support the Team Leader in ensuring that all orders are manufactured on time and to the expected high standards, whilst adhering to all Health and Safety policies. You will also support KPI and data reporting, assist with the day-to-day manufacturing process and be available to cover production stations when required. You will be required to work Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm. You will also be required to travel to site and stay overnight, once trained. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure all manufacturing quality is maintained to the expected high standard and required deadlines are met. Ensure all relevant quality paperwork is completed and maintained. Continuously drive the team to maximise output and efficiency. Work alongside the Team Leader to support cultural change and embrace ongoing improvements and efficiencies. Minimise labour costs where possible whilst achieving manufacturing requirements. Work with the Team Leader to ensure the correct utilisation of manpower across the business. Ensure operator training is completed when required and signed off on time.
