Manufacturing Supervisor NorwichSelect are working with a long-established manufacturer in Norwich recruiting a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team across electrical and mechanical machine assembly operations.You''ll be responsible for ensuring production meets safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while driving a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.Key Responsibilities Oversee assembly of machinery, sub-assemblies, and electro-mechanical units to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and build specificationsMonitor workflow and production schedules to ensure on-time deliveryEnforce quality standards; conduct in-process inspections and support root-cause analysisMaintain compliance with ISO, safety, and regulatory requirementsLead and motivate the manufacturing team; conduct daily briefings and allocate workloadSupport training, upskilling, and competency assessments across the teamDrive continuous improvement using Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, standard work, waste reduction)Champion safety culture; ensure risk assessments, method statements, and equipment checks are currentLead incident investigations and implement corrective actionsCoordinate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality to resolve constraints What We''re Looking ForEssential: Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly environmentStrong understanding of engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly practicesProven ability to lead and ..... full job details .....
