Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Contract Manufacturing Quality Engineer (MQE) Aerospace Defence Manufacturing Quality Engineering AS9100. RCCA. 8D. FAI. Manufacturing Quality. We re recruiting an experienced Contract Manufacturing Quality Engineer (MQE) to support a high-performing aerospace and defence manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on contract assignment for someone who can come in, get up to speed quickly, and make an immediate impact across manufacturing quality. You ll work closely with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve issues, drive corrective action, and improve shop-floor quality performance. If you re a contractor who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment and can take ownership from day one, we want to hear from you. What you ll be doing Managing manufacturing non-conformances and coordinating containment activity. Leading RCCA and 8D investigations through to effective closure. Driving corrective and preventive actions to reduce repeat quality issues. Supporting Production teams to improve quality performance and reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ). Completing and supporting First Article Inspection (FAI) activity in line with AS9102. Supporting product verification, inspection, and release activities. Working directly with Manufacturing Engineering and Production to resolve shop-floor quality issues.
