Location: Desford (Fully Site-Based)Pay Rate: £25.20 - £35.20 per hour (Dependent on Experience)Salary Equivalent Comparator: £41,593 per annumWorking Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Standard Hours)Key Benefit: 35 Days Holiday EntitlementAbout the RoleAre you a proactive, delivery-focused Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on being on the shop floor rather than stuck behind a desk?We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Project Engineer to support and lead a portfolio of containerisation improvement initiatives at our world-class manufacturing facility in Desford. This role perfectly combines practical engineering execution with project management responsibility. You will focus on implementing robust processes to support increasing operational output, eliminate process variability, and improve efficiency across the containerisation footprint.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery: Lead and deliver containerisation-related projects from their current status through to successful shopfloor implementation. Define scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables.Hands-on Optimization: Actively support and implement process improvements on the shopfloor. Coordinate the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment and tooling.Process Stability: Review current manufacturing methods to identify opportunities to improve throughput, efficiency, and quality.
