Manufacturing Project EngineerLocation: Desford, Leicestershire (Fully Onsite)Contract: Initial 6 months (Likely Extension - Rolling)Rate: £47.03 per hour (£352.73 per day) Inside IR35Start Date: ASAPWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Project Engineer to join a leading manufacturing organisation on an initial 6-month contract.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who enjoys owning projects from concept through to implementation while driving meaningful operational improvements within a production environment. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a portfolio of manufacturing and process improvement initiatives, working closely with operational and engineering teams to deliver sustainable results.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver manufacturing improvement projects from current state through to implementationDefine project scope, timelines, risks and deliverablesCoordinate activities across operations, engineering and supply chain teamsDrive process improvements to increase throughput, efficiency and qualitySupport the installation, commissioning and optimisation of equipment and toolingDevelop and standardise operating procedures and working methodsInvestigate and resolve process inefficiencies using structured problem-solving techniquesImplement robust and repeatable manufacturing processesIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement using data and shopfloor observationsTake ownership of issues through to ..... full job details .....
