Process Engineer- Manufacturing Location: Norwich Salary: Competitive + BenefitsMonday- Friday, 9:00- 17:30Our client, a well-established manufacturer, is looking for a detail-driven engineer to join their Operations team. This role sits at the link between engineering design and the shop floor, split between hands-on process improvement and the data/administration side of manufacturing - keeping BOMs, routings, and ERP records accurate as products move from CAD into production.What you''ll be doing Transferring and maintaining Bills of Materials from CAD into the ERP system, keeping structure and data clean for accurate costingSetting and maintaining correct work centres and routing times across the shop floorLeading and closing out continuous improvement projects that reduce manufacturing costWriting and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for key products and processesInvestigating build issues and component failures, and supporting root-cause/CAPA activityRunning PFMEAs alongside Quality and Production during new product introductionCoordinating Engineering Changes with suppliers and manufacturing teamsProviding backup support on tooling, ERP administration and cost variance analysisSupporting third-party certification activity (e.g. ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards) What we''re looking for A degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or similarExperience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, ideally with electro-mechanical ..... full job details .....
