      <description>Location: Aylesbury | Salary: &amp;pound;35000 - &amp;pound;40000/annum | Type: Permanent | Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Buckinghamshire based client to recruit for a Buyer.   This is a great opportunity for someone to grow and learn in a fast-moving business that is open to supporting the successful candidate in the journey to complete CIPS.      Key responsibilities:    Manage, raise and process all purchase orders  Source and negotiate key items with suppliers  Ensure orders are progressing in a timely and effective manner  Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand current and upcoming purchasing requirements  Support with company indirect purchases  Research and source alternative means of supply for urgent requirements.         Skills and Experience:    Previous experience in a Purchasing or Buying role  Ideally part qualified in CIPS or with a willingness to complete with company support  Experience with an ERP/MRP system  Some knowledge of import/export procedures  Good IT skills including Excel  Strong attention to detail  Good communication skills           52257DH      INDPRO     The Portfolio Group are acting on behalf of our client in recruiting for this position.</description>
