Manufacturing Planner

The Planner will be a key member of the production team, responsible for planning and coordinating shop-floor activity to ensure materials are available at the right time and in the right place. The role focuses on creating executable production plans that consider capacity, support customer delivery requirements, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.Key ResponsibilitiesPrioritize materials and issues across Goods In, Stores, Dispatch, Purchasing and EngineeringLiaise with Purchasing to confirm material availability and quality of supplyControl material traceability throughout the shop floorRaise, manage and close Works Orders in line with MRPReview and action MRP exception messagesAlign with Operations to support sales forecasting and site planningMaintain MRP parameters in line with company policiesCommunicate proactively with Customer Services regarding updates, issues and resolutionsWork within a cross-functional team to meet customer and delivery targetsDemonstrate an understanding of regulated manufacturing traceability requirements (e.g. aerospace / medical) ..... full job details .....
