About the Role

Manpower UK is seeking a Manufacturing Operator - Rotating Shifts to join their client's production team in Perth & Kinross. This temporary role offers £13.20 - £15.84 per hour and requires individuals comfortable with rotating shift patterns. Responsibilities include following Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines, operating production equipment, monitoring lines, preparing materials from work orders, and accurately completing documentation covering weights, dates, and packaging records. You will also inspect materials, products, and packaging through the production process. Previous manufacturing experience is essential, alongside a hands-on approach and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Manufacturing Operator to join their production team in Perth. What you''ll be doing:


* Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines
* Operating production equipment and monitoring production lines
* Reading work orders and preparing materials for production
* Completing production documentation accurately, including weights, dates and packaging records
* Inspecting materials, products and packaging throughout the manufacturing process
* Filling, weighing, sealing, labelling and packaging finished products
* Carrying out line clearance activities and disposing of materials safely
* Assisting with equipment validation and routine production tasks
* Cleaning and sanitising machinery, equipment and work areas
* Working closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets and quality standards


What you''ll bring:


* Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or laboratory environment
* A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
* Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
* The ability to read and follow written procedures, work instructions and safety guidelines
* A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to prioritise workloads
* Comfortable working in a physically active role, including standing for long periods and lifting materials when required
* Commitment to health, safety and GMP standards at all times


Shifts andamp; Pay:


* Monday to Friday
* Rotating shifts: 06:00 - 14:30 and 13:30 - 22:00
* £13.20 per hour plus 20% shift allowance
* Weekly pay through Manpower
