Manufacturing Operative

Our client, based in Ilkeston, is looking for a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Operative to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in fabrication, cutting, welding, and measuring to join a well-established company.Hours and Pay:- Days: 7:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday) / 7:00am - 2:30pm (Friday) - £13.88 per hour- Afternoons: 1:30pm - 10:00pm (Monday - Thursday) / 12:30pm - 8pm (Friday) - £15.87 per hour- During training you will be on the day shift, after which you will move onto rotating shiftsKey Responsibilities:- Fabricating components based on technical specifications- Cutting materials to size and specification- Performing welding and assembly tasks- Measuring and checking the accuracy of work- Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all timesEssential Skills and Experience:- Previous manufacturing experience- Strong skills in fabrication, cutting, welding, and measuring- Ability to work to precise specifications- Reliable and punctual- Own transport or based locally in IlkestonBenefits:- Competitive pay rate- Overtime available- Temp to perm opportunity- A supportive and dynamic team environmentIf you''re looking to take the next step in your career with a reputable employer, apply today to be considered for this exciting role!
