Permanent opportunity Job Title: Manufacturing Operative Salary: £26,227.50 (£13.45ph) Working at a production facility in Coleshill Working a two-shift pattern, 5 days a week: Days (06 30) Afternoons (13 00) Regular overtime Monday to Saturday 1.5x Sunday 2x (not so regular) Shift premium of 20% on hours worked after 17:00 Helping to run the pleating and hooking machine. Quality checking curtains as they come off the production line. Preparing the curtains to be packed. Packing curtains into boxes ready for distribution. KEY PURPOSE OF ROLE: To manufacture and assemble the product range as required, where training has been provided, in accordance with documented company procedures and the company s Environmental and Quality Policies. Manufacturing requirements - Running the Pleat machine to recognized procedures. Operating the Hook machine to recognized procedures. Manufacture, packing and boxing of curtains according to detailed instructions, in preparation for courier or fitter collection as appropriate. Undertake predetermined quality checks at each step of production to facilitate correct assembly and ultimately the correct performance of all products and components.
