About the Role

Pertemps Redditch Industrial is seeking a Manufacturing Operative for a permanent, full-time role based in Redditch. The position offers a four-day working week, Monday to Thursday, from 0600 to 1600, with a salary between £27,664 and £29,640 per annum. The successful candidate will join an established manufacturer’s engineering division, producing high-precision components for major aerospace clients across the UK. Responsibilities include manufacturing parts for aerospace, automotive, and defence sectors, following detailed instructions and specifications. Key tasks involve grinding, polishing, and finishing processes. This role provides 33 days of annual leave, progression opportunities, and overtime paid at a premium rate.

Requirement for an experienced Manufacturing Operative to join a successful, Redditch-based Manufacturer. The position will require the successful candidate to be an integral part of the engineering division with the responsibility of producing high-precision parts for large aerospace customers across the UK.
As a Manufacturing Operative, your responsibilities will include:

Producing components for various industries including aerospace, automotive and defence
Working to instructions and specifications within a busy manufacturing environment
Griding/Polishing/Linishing materials
Power Press operating
Loading, unloading & monitoring Furnaces

The successful applicant will have experience within a manufacturing environment, be physically capable of performing manual handling tasks and possess manual skills (Grinding/Linishing/Polishing material etc.)
