Our growing manufacturing client in Derby are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for reading and understanding detailed manufacturing instructions, carrying out process inspections and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

Job Description
-

• Complete a range of hands-on manufacturing tasks
• Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes Engineering Drawings, Ream sheets, Data Cards, etc.
• Use appropriate measuring equipment to verify that all components meet quality standards and specifications.
• Carry out in process inspection in accordance with relevant specifications

• Experience carrying out a hands-on manufacturing role (riveting, counter sinking, deburring, linishing, fettling, assembly and fitting etc.)
• Confident using a range of manufacturing tools such as air grinders, air tools, linishers etc.
• Great attention to detail
• Good communication skills
