Job Description: Manufacturing Operations ManagerPosition: Full timeReports to: Managing DirectorSalary: £60,000 - £65,000 dependant on experience + Performance based bonusThe CompanyYorkshire Laser and Fabrications are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to co-ordinate and lead the manufacturing team and support functions, at their fast-paced modern West Yorkshire facility. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing and continually improving all the manufacturing-related functions to ensure Health and Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost control.This is a hands-on role working with a highly collaborative team.Duties and ResponsibilitiesGenerating and maintaining the production plan through the MRP and scheduling systemsDirect and oversee operational teams in achieving the production planEnsure compliance with all statutory requirements in Quality and Health and Safety (maintaining companies accreditation in ISO 9001 and 14001)Collaboration with the Sales department to ensure effective production planningEffectively communicate results and action plans to all employees and managersPlan and deliver Continuous Improvement programs across all operationsFacilitate daily production meetings, setting targets and ensuring people are held accountable for communication updates and actionsAllocate appropriate resources where neededAnalysis of production and process data to develop and achieve key targets and objectivesEnsure team motivation ..... full job details .....
