Manufacturing Manager

A leading manufacturer of cleaning and hygiene products have partnered with Woodstock Recruitment to support them in the search for their next Manufacturing Manager. Joining a business with solid ethics and values and an ambitious growth plan, you will be joining an established team and will bring previous chemical or FMCG manufacturing experience with you. What you will do: Operational Excellence and Innovation Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing activities to meet production targets. Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve service levels. Monitor KPI s to ensure performance expectations and strategic goals are aligned. Develop and implement strategies to optimise production and logistics operations Champion the adoption of new technologies and innovative practices that enhance operations. Lead initiatives to optimise processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity across all areas of responsibility. Analyse workflows and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains. Develop and maintain SOP s, machine settings and manufacturing process documentation. Leadership and Team Development Provide leadership and direction to the Production, Maintenance and Health and Safety Manager. Promote a collaborative and accountability work environment.
