Job Title: Manufacturing Lead Location: Consett Hours: Full-time Days Pay: 47,550 per annum AMLR are looking for a Manufacturing Lead to join a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Consett. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role within a high-performance manufacturing environment, overseeing production operations and driving improvements across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People. Key responsibilities for Manufacturing Lead: Leading and managing the manufacturing operation to meet and exceed customer requirements across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People. Promoting company Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standards, including ISO 14001, ISO 50001 and ISO 18001. Working with the wider site team to reduce accidents, near misses and environmental risks through proactive HSandE management and 6S principles. Supporting site audits, legislative requirements and action plans to continually improve safety performance. Leading and making decisions on quality and engineering queries, with training provided where required. Developing a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring quality standards and procedures are consistently maintained. Managing internal and external quality concerns through effective communication, SQCDP meetings and robust problem-solving methodologies.
