Manufacturing Inspector

Futures recruitment are looking for a diligent and quality-focused Manufacturing Inspector to carry out visual inspections throughout the bus manufacturing and assembly process.The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying defects, workmanship issues and deviations from required quality standards before vehicles progress through production or are released to the customer. This role requires a strong eye for detail, a methodical approach and the confidence to raise quality concerns when standards are not being met.Key Responsibilities Carry out detailed visual inspections of buses at defined stages of the manufacturing and assembly process.Inspect interior and exterior components for defects, damage, poor workmanship and incorrect installation.Check areas including body panels, paint and finish, glazing, flooring, seating, trim, fixtures, fittings, doors, access panels and other visible components.Identify issues such as scratches, dents, gaps, misalignment, loose or missing components, contamination, poor finishes and cosmetic defects.Verify that workmanship meets agreed manufacturing specifications, quality standards and customer expectations.Record inspection findings accurately using relevant quality documentation and digital inspection systems.Raise defects and non-conformances clearly, providing sufficient detail to support corrective action.Liaise with Production, Quality and Manufacturing teams to ensure identified defects are understood and ..... full job details .....
