About the Role
As a Manufacturing Handler in Gloucester, you will manage warehouse goods, checking materials and components against supplier packing lists. This permanent position, with a salary between £26,000 and £30,000 per annum, involves inspecting incoming shipments to confirm satisfactory receipt and accurate fulfilment. You will then distribute these items to production lines using a Heavy Goods Vehicle, responding to stakeholder requests across the site. The role requires you to be comfortable driving HGV 7.5-ton lorries, ensuring timely delivery of components, materials, and products. Key skills include attention to detail for inventory verification and safe operation of large vehicles within a logistics setting.
Warehouse goods in Materials and component checking and delivery against supplier packing lists and complete material fulfilment to relevant production lines and upon stakeholder request.
You will inspect and accept incoming shipments against supplier packing lists, ensuring items have been received in a satisfactory state. Then using the Heavy Goods Vehicle distribute components, materials and products across the site.
