Position Details:
- End Date: 03/08/2026
- Pay Rate: -28.41 per hour (PAYE)
- Schedule: 35 hours per week, Hybrid work model (3 days on-site, including Tuesday and Thursday)
- Core Hours: 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM; flexible hours outside of these times with an earlier finish on Fridays
- Possible International Travel: Yes, to Germany
- Driving License Required: Yes
Key Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Feasibility Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that manufacturing feasibility is evaluated in alignment with our business processes. Your contributions will include:
- Analysis & Evaluation:
- Review and resolve manufacturing feasibility concerns through style and design analysis.
- Conduct virtual and physical studies to provide recommendations and support problem resolution.
- Analyse dimensional management outputs and develop assembly strategies to meet product quality targets.
- Support & Resolution:
- Clearly document concerns/issues and support resolution through established business processes.
- Validate assembly feasibility in Control Build activities and act as a knowledge holder for part design and assembly.
- Best Practices & Innovation:
- Identify and develop best practice principles within the automotive and related industries.
- Contribute to the introduction of new technologies and techniques to support our deliverables.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in the automotive, aerospace, or defence manufacturing or engineering environments.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of component design, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of design for assembly principles and lean manufacturing techniques.
- Familiarity with CATIA V5, virtual build tools, and measurement techniques.
Qualifications:
- HNC/Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- German language skills are a plus!
- Membership in a related professional institute is preferable.
