ExpeditorLocation: GloucesterExciting Opportunity with a Leading Aerospace ClientWe are recruiting for an experienced Expeditor on a contact basis to join a leading aerospace manufacturing programme. Working within the Scheduling team and reporting to the Scheduling Manager, the Expeditor will take ownership of critical parts and recovery-plan orders, ensuring they progress efficiently through production and are delivered on time.This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive Expeditor to play a vital role in maintaining manufacturing flow, removing operational constraints, and supporting the successful delivery of aerospace components in a highly regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage a portfolio of critical parts and recovery-plan orders from release through to shipment.Track and monitor critical parts through every stage of the manufacturing process.Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, waiting time, and non-value-added delays between operations.Ensure all critical parts have a defined next action, owner, and recovery plan at all times.Work closely with Schedulers, Production Team Leaders, Quality Technicians, Logistics teams, and Operators to maintain flow and remove obstacles.Lead daily critical-part reviews and communicate priorities across operational teams.Escalate and drive resolution of issues including material shortages, quality concerns, machine downtime, and resource constraints.Monitor adherence to recovery plans and challenge ..... full job details .....
