Manufacturing Engineering Supplier Industrial Leader

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineering Supplier Industrial Leader on a 6 -month basis. As the Manufacturing Engineering Supplier Industrial Leader you will provide technical Manufacturing Engineering support to suppliers across both current serial production programmes and next-generation aircraft. Role: Manufacturing Engineering Supplier Industrial Leader Pay: 40.13 Per hour via Umbrella rate Contract: Monday to Friday, 365Hours a week, 6 -month contract Location: Filon IR35 Status: Inside ResponsibilitiesProvide Manufacturing Engineering support to suppliers across serial and new aircraft programmes.Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and Transfer of Work (ToW) activities.Develop supplier industrial capability across Aerostructures and Detail Parts.Lead Supplier Industrial Reviews and support industrialisation through to handover.Drive supplier process improvement, quality, performance and manufacturing innovation.Support Root Cause Analysis of technical issues and identify manufacturing capability concerns.Contribute to Design Reviews, providing Design for Manufacture and industrialisation expertise.Act as the Manufacturing Industrial Authority for development projects.Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers and travel globally when required.
