Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer £35,000 - £40,000 + 4 Day Working Week (Every Friday Off) + Progression to Production Management + Benefits + Pension Hixon, Staffordshire (Commutable from Rugeley and surrounding areas) Are you a Production or Manufacturing Engineer looking to work a Monday to Thursday role for one of the UK''s biggest Contract Manufacturers, with full responsibility for improving Manufacturing Operations with progression into Production Manager as you make the role your own? This is a newly created position where you''ll work closely with the Head of Engineering taking ownership of practical engineering problems across the shop floor. You''ll improve manufacturing processes, develop jigs and fixtures, solve recurring production issues and gradually take on broader responsibility across engineering and production. The company is an established UK subcontract manufacturer providing fabrication, machining, electromechanical assembly, testing and wider contract manufacturing services. You''ll join a practical, high-mix manufacturing environment where you''ll have the autonomy to implement improvements and directly influence day-to-day production.
