This is a hands-on technical authority role with no direct reports, so your focus stays firmly on the engineering itself, root cause analysis, specifications, and solving the problems that keep complex, regulated manufacturing on track. There is also real scope to help shape the future of the operation, supporting the move towards higher-volume, faster-turnaround manufacturing and developing the processes to make it happen. The business is looking specifically for someone with deep welding and fabrication expertise to lead this area with authority, backed by strong machining and metallurgy knowledge.
