Manufacturing Engineer
Our manufacturing Client on the outskirts of Dartford is seeking an experienced Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineer - the role is to assist in day-to-day plant operations, programming machines, validating programs and ensuring production is fully supported. The successful candidate will continually improve manufacturing efficiencies by utilizing continuous improvement techniques whilst maintaining a high level of quality. Job role: Permanent, full time Salary: Competitive - discussed on first phone call Location: Near Dartford, Kent Hours: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week Holiday: 25 days + 8 BH The key skills and qualities of a Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineer are: Understanding DFM processes. Understanding lean manufacturing techniques. Understanding of computerised manufacturing systems (ERP, MRP) Keep equipment operational - first line maintenance and repairs Create programs for automatic programmable equipment Diagnose machine faults and production equipment failures, identifying root causes Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Able to communicate, both within the working group and the organisation. Understanding project management and prioritize multiple projects Ideally degree educated - electro mechanical Able to write programs for a variety of machines Hands on maintenance and problem-solving experience Computer literate Experience within manufacturing essential (desirable - electronic assembly) ..... full job details .....
