Our client, a medical device manufacturing business, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The position is full time, permanent.  Salary:  Up to £55,000.  Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-13:00.  Key responsibilities Develop, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to optimise cycle times, improve yield, and increase efficiency. Ensure all production operations comply with ISO 13485, (GMP), and internal quality procedures. Plan and execute process validation activities, including the generation and execution of IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols and reports. Investigate manufacturing non-conformances, deviations, and process failures, implementing robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Deliver cost-improvement initiatives by using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Value Stream Mapping to reduce scrap and waste. Specify, source, and implement new manufacturing equipment, automated systems, tooling, and jigs/fixtures.
