New Model Manufacturing - Paint Purpose of the role:Our Manufacturing Engineering team are growing to support our business plan. New Models mean more opportunity to develop and create processes and standardisation around how we perfect each and every model we build.This role is crucial to the success of our Manufacturing operations, you will be involved in scoping, specifying, and delivering best operational Paint practices in alignment with brand expectations; and support the Manufacturing Engineering leadership team with the implementation of departmental budgets as contributor to overall program business cases.In this role, you will have plenty of variety - everyone in the team will have a wide exposure to the business, including interfacing with concept design and engineering teams across multiple projects, you will witness and influence projects from beginning to end.Principal accountabilities: Support cross functional Design andamp; Perceived Quality reviews for new modelsWork with Research andamp; Development (Randamp;D) on new material concepts and technologiesSupport Design Verification Plan (DVP) testing of new substratesDevelopment of new Paint colours, including application sign offDevelopment of Paint application methods, including tooling definitionPFMEADFMEAFacility/Paint Shop capacity planningFacility layout planningProcess andamp; Documentation and Product Traceability methodologyHours Per Car generation/reportingDevelopment of Paint application methods, ..... full job details .....
