If so, our client, who are a UK-based company specialising in precision engineering and manufacturing for the power generation and aerospace sectors would be interested in your background!Type - PermanentHours - Day shift - 39 hours per week: 7:30am - 4:30pm Mon-Thurs, 7:30am - 12:30pm FridayLocation - AlcesterFor this role, you can have experience in either 5 axis laser programming OR press tool design!Manufacturing Engineer (5 Axis Laser Programmer)Create, modify, and improve programs (Laser)Offline CAD CAM programming for laser machinesFulfil all tasks required within NPDI processes making use of relevant engineering softwareProvide technical expertise and support related to manufacturingProduce / review methods of manufacture (MOM)Preparation of documentation for new manufacturing processes or amendments to existing proceduresManufacturing Engineer (Press Tool Design)Design and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment, tooling, and processesProvide technical expertise or support related to manufacturingEnsure that all necessary tooling which is required to support a safe, robust and efficient manufacturing process is designed, manufactured and availableDeveloping tooling strategies to reduce tooling usage and cost, developing actions to reduce process cycle times and improve productivity/throughput, developing actions to eliminate quality defectsLiaise with suppliers ..... full job details .....
