Manufacturing Engineer

Are you a Manufacturing Engineer with knowledge of machining and/or fabrication processes? We are working with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Castle Donington who are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have experience working in a generalist Manufacturing Engineer role covering NPI, process improvements and SOP development. Manufacturing EngineerPermanent Salary dependent on experienceMonday - Thursday 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm, Friday 7am - 12pm or 8am - 1pmCastle DoningtonManufacturing EngineerJob DescriptionLead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, managing gated processes and providing regular stakeholder updates.Develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes, including shopfloor support when required.Ensure product quality and compliance with customer, internal, and regulatory requirements.Create and maintain key engineering documentation such as BOMs, routings, PFMEAs, control plans, inspection plans, SOPs, and FAIR reports.Investigate manufacturing issues and non-conformances, driving root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (e.g., 5Y, 8D).Manufacturing EngineerEssential Skills/Experience/QualificationsMachining and/or fabrication knowledge/experienceA dynamic and proactive personality with the ability to work independentlyWell versed working in a manufacturing engineering roleNPI experience would be highly desirableManufacturing EngineerCompany Benefits25 ..... full job details .....
