Manufacturing Engineer

Our client in Burton Upon Trent is going through a rapid period of growth and are now seeking an experienced Production / Manufacturing Engineer to take ownership of production test and development capability and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.This is a hands-on role focused on test equipment, process improvement, fault-finding, and supporting the introduction of new products into production.The RoleKey responsibilities include:The Manufacturing Engineer/ Production Engineer will be managing the day-to-day operation of the production test laboratory.Maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving production test equipment.The Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer will be using CAD to design and develop test rigs, fixtures, jigs, and manufacturing tooling.Supporting root cause investigations and resolving production test failures.Developing new test methods and improving existing test processes.Supporting new product introduction and production readiness activities.Providing technical support for electro-mechanical assembly and manufacturing teams.Assisting with automation, data capture, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.Creating and maintaining technical documentation, work instructions, and test procedures.About YouThe ideal candidate will have:Significant experience as a Production Engineer, Test Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Development Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Engineer or a similar role.Strong ..... full job details .....
